But in a "heartwarming" all campus IT call our CTO offered to fly out to any location that needs help and unpack boxes if need be........ Yeah right C level people doing any real work...... That will happen.
KKR wants the Billion dollars back! its that simple.
Yup campus IT, even though we are technically CS employees. We were not stretched thin enough before, now we have even less people to do more work. Certainly shows the "geniuses" at the top know how to run a company out of business.
can confirm. I was in CS - corporate services and was let go today. I worked on all brands. Hear entire marketing department fro Brown Mackie was let go too.
AUO Pittsburgh is eliminating ACs, ARs and their respective managers. All can apply for Ssa or academic coordinator positions.

So far I have only found out that 21 in IT have been let go, they are not sure about where else. It seems things are trying to be kept quiet in Pittsburgh and Phoenix.
938 Layoffs have nothing to do with "Thursdays" being the day. You can repeat that all you want. Layoffs don't occur only on Thursdays. Look at prior articles about layoffs, they are not all Thursdays. I was laid off A year ago today. Which was a Tuesday.

I didn't think anything would happen today. Just heard from a friend down in CS, layoffs did occur. Trying to find out more to the truth of it. I said I thought it might get delayed. All they told me was the site is correct and it happened today.

It's done, all academic counselors, managers and admissions reps and managers along with two campus directors are being eliminated.

What about Nation wide? I would think people from all the school locations would be on the hook not just in Pittsburgh? I doubt we are getting the real numbers.
