Those of us still here at EDMC should take a stand to declare we are done with the poor mismanagement and running of this company. We need to across the board all call of sick this Friday and bring the business to a halt! They will never listen to as long as we bicker and let trolls control this site. It might be too late but if there is any chance to bring about a change and improve things for these students we need to make a stand NOW!

I wasn't saying they are laying people off as a vendetta. I was stating that layoffs are occurring because people in the higher up positions are not doing their jobs well enough. How many times are they going to waste money on companies to come in and advise more efficient ways to do things then turn around and ignore them. There are shady practices but there are people that want to do right by students. You can spew your rhetoric and say that they are doing what's best but what's best doesn't constitute lying about numbers and lying to students. A student that fails the intro class should not be repeatedly taking it. People that were in jail should not be getting calls to ask if they want to go to school for law enforcement. They should not be telling people to not say what the real student job placement numbers are. Things are getting twisted and these people need to go in order for this company to get better, grow and do right by potential and current students.
How much longer do you feel that EDMC will stay in business?
Do you idiots not realize they are making these cuts in irder to stay in business? This isn't a personal vendetta against you- they were so horribly mismanaged the past decade they are struggling just to keep the doors open.
Things aren't going to change because we don't own the company.
And this is why there will never be change. You people criticize leadership but you are just as lazy as they are. You can take part of the blame yourselves instead of throwing it all on them.

IF you picket on PTO you could do that... You can always wear bandana over face, like a robber or an EDMC Exec!
I would be all for calling off sick to picket. And have EDMC pay me to do it!
Rather than calling off sick, you folks should picket and get the press and publicity. I could see a hundred or so on street corner at wood street with signs making the news....
