Intel employees are punks.
Three of my engineer friends got cut at Broadcom in Irvine last November. There will be more cuts there.

Intel's board is hyperactive too, they just went through massive cuts in Santa Clara and Oregon. A few thousand people, the leadership pulled a scam on the engineers - in short, they used stock share levels (people can get SSL 1 which is a lot to SSL 5 which is no shares) to lay people off - so, if you had a good preformance review but low stock share level you were cut - just saying that it can be worse than what we have here at QC.... Broadcom is always slow, I can bet that they will have layoffs six months from now, they are late for everything.

Yeah. I guess being from other companies I've gotten use to being screwed so many times, I barely notice it anymore.
because Intel and Broadcom has regular layoffs ...people are kind of used to it....but that is not the case with qualcomm..... Qualcomm middle managers think of Qualcomm as a permanent job ....and the number of H1b's qualcomm has hired ...they are the ones who more freaked out......
it is kind of shock to Qualcomm people...and they are finding it hard to adjust....thats why there are so many useless thread from racism to culture ...
Because there is lots of $$$$$$ to be made with qualcomm layoff
