Anonymous120276: You described it perfectly...but I don't think we can hope to it get fixed, it's just the way how it works in big corps, time to brush resume and look around...I am here for 4+ years, money was good but looking back ,I regret my choice,I mostly learned navigating big company bureaucracy and not much to show for in my resume all these times.......I dont want to work for big company ever now,it's just a stinky rathole without any fun and learning and just a sweatshop....my honest thoughts

Let's hope they remove the free loaders and low performers. Most of the managers reached the position by being good engineers first. Hopefully, the restructuring will result in a better org structure where everybody works instead having layers upon layers of status collecting and reporting. There are project leads, chip set leads, SP leads, SW leads, test leads, program managers and then 'sub leads' and 'PoCs' everywhere. All these folks are bureacrats who have long stopped adding any real technical skills. Lets hope the good ones will be retained and put to proper use.

The matrix structure and parallel projects are inherently wasteful in its nature of duplication. It is time to do things right, and not hide behind the mask of risk management to have layers of redundancies.
