I have seen this guy trolling in WP team without any (visible) contribution. Looks like he was part original CDMA team and made great contributions in past and just hanging around now for last 10-12 years without any accountability..Anyone know if he is surviving this layoff axe?

+1, All this old unproductive fat should go now...we cant feed them till retirement, We appreciate their previous contribution but now we are in cost cutting mode cant afford unproductive VP level guys.
All these deadwoods should go, it not a wise investment of shareholders money,,,,
I agree,I respect him for his past contributions but NOW he just hiding under WP shadow and enjoying he life without any responsibilities...may be he is in resting and vesting mode....otherwise very sharp guy
He is a deadwood sucking qcom for while without providing any value,no accountability and responsibility...just one of many an iconic historical figure.
I am in WP team and see him in ph under WP but in last 4 years I never understood value he was providing...when I asked around I was told he is veteran with significant contribution in qcom history and now enjoying life and he has big connections,,,,,So is it justified for him to hang around in qcom with VP title forever without justifying value he is providing to qcom now?
