Gwain is one of them- Not even engineering level contributions at least in last 5 years...I heard there are lot of old folk who are treating qcom as retirement home while sucking in lot of money... So it may not be just Gwain but I can only vouch for him as I am seeing him part of WP without any visible contributions.,,,
Qualcomm is the #1 company on earth for VPs! It's all they do! When I first came 15 years ago they had 150 VP's, one for every 50 people! They must have more VP's! Without VP's how can they call themselves a self-respecting telecom company! In my experience, some of the most useless people at Qualcomm were VPs so ALL of them will keep their jobs, as they have done for the past 15-20 years so far ...

I see so many VPs trolling around with no responsibilities...mostly old times with buddies in management,working retired life! How shareholders footing the bill for all these fat non productive pigs...?
