QC can eliminate the whole QIS team, including Vuforia and take care of half of their OpEx target in one day. Then stop pouring money into PJ's pet project with Greg Wyler's nutty satellite venture, with no real benefit to QTL or QCT. Add the removal of playing in the drone ecosystem. Lastly, dump 50% of the SG&A (marketing and finance in particular). Snapdragon branding is a waste of time. Plan complete.

Qualcomm could easily do well with 50% less VPs, 30% less Directors, 50% less Product managers, 50% less Principal engineers and 100% less Project managers. That's more than 20% savings.

SM should make a list of all the Director level and above as well as H1Bs working in QCOM and let them all go. This will be a good beginning.

SM should ask 50 VPs at a time to go on a leave for 3 weeks and see how the business suffers. In their absence, if it is business as-usual or better, let them go ;)
