1230 Jobs cut... a lot of jobs (or all) in CBRES, Law, HES... but looks like a lot of these posts in this forum were greatly exaggerated. Good luck, everyone.

Don't be ringing the dinner bell yet. Oil prices aren't going to recover anytime soon. This is just round 1.

Yes but some of those 1300 will fill the vacancies left by the resource adjustment exercise
How is 1350 not significant. This is just the Corp depts and service groups. You are forgetting the cuts being made in various BUs through their own ROM process. Those cuts aren't part of the 1350.
Your mention about CBRES and LAW and HES are incorrect. The update was informing of cost savings by those groups which have already been identified and completed. The email was giving a compliment to certain groups is call. You know, to try and provide some positive to a negative topic.
1350 employees and 600 contractors. Not as bad as some thought.
