Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

This 15% are only qcomm staff or qcomm + temporary. I am not employee of this company just curios.

They can't let all temps go and still do work, am I supposed to do the grunt work of three temps and my own work?

If they let go of all 5k temps then the company is done.

All temp/interns first and THEN 15-18% is what payroll is saying.

There is a state loophole that allows the dismissal of temps/interns do not count against the bottom line of layoffs.

On the bright side, those let go are eligible for rehire after 90 days(California only).
