Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

VOTE AGAINST JANA BOARD MEMBERS AT THE SHAREHOLDER MEETING

If every employee voted against JANA appointed board members we may be able to get them off the board. They have approx 30 million shares. Tell all your friends and family .members who have shares to vote against JANA!

Don't mistake this for bitterness, Jana's goal is short term stock gains by any means necessary. As someone wh shares and an outlook further into the future than a couple of percentage point, I feel Jana's goals are contradictory to the long term health if Qualcomm.

Stocks are like a democracy and you have a vote!

Most companies do not start mass layoffs until they start loosing money. There must be many greedy shareholders with no confidence in the managements ability to turn the ship around for this chopping happen now. They see that the losses will show up very soon, probably even with this move.

I don't know if the lack of vision will get fixed or not. But did you pay attention to earnings? Something has to be done. Qualcomm can't go on the way it has.

it was the threat of going nuclear that avoided it. Now SM, PJ, and Jana's two ringers are on board. Everybody else on BoD will fall in line.

Then this is a message to all share holders... Pay attention and vote your proxy so that some organized mob can't take control with 2%. JANA is barred from calling SHAREHOLDER Meetings so the nuclear option is theoretically off the table.

This makes me want to watch the movie Wallstreet again.

they have more than shares. they have INFLUENCE. they have board seats with other large shareholders. They got so much with 2% just on the threat of the nuclear option (proxy fight)
