Are there changes/tweaks to this early review cycle? Did managers receive any new/special guidelines?

So no self assessment and soliciting feedback from others for this review cycle?
So no bonus. Rsu, or promos this cycle?
Last 2 reviews plus manager input but not your input into this review. If time in grade is long with low ratings or you a a consistent 3 and a 2,3 RSU rating then you will be on the initial low performer list. I believe that the wait until late September is so that the WARN act timing will support vesting of the NOV 20 RSUs.
who gives a shit about the new review. We all know who the low performers on our team are, and who we would cut. Do you seriously think that your opinion is different than your line mananger or director? People don't change over time, if you were dumb and lazy last review, do you really think that three months later, something will have changed?
Should go by the last few reviews. The layoff news will skew things badly as people give feedback.
I hear a lot of complaining but not a lot of solutions. How would you like to determine how to cut the necessary people?
Anonymous124465 - 2 months is require under the WARN notice. Would you rather not have a choice to rate employees in order to decide who is needed and who isn't? want others to make that judgement call for you?
Managers have the opportunity to purge the ones they don't like, the ones that don't return their flirty vibes, the ones that don't have the right skin color (according to them), the ones who don't work the right number of hours. I, for one, welcome our new activist overlords.
Is this going to be a usual review cycle where there is going to be a rating, bonus, rsu, promo and layoffs as well in the side?

Yes. I'm a /manager, we got an email to the supervisors list, it's for the most part the same as every other TRR mail, but it does conclude with "thank you in advance for your support and leadership during this challenging time." This is complete bullshit how it's being handled, HR is keeping employees around for 2 months before they notify them under the guise of "transparency" in the review process. This TRR process is just a vindictive chance for you to oust your peers. I expected more from QC.
