I believe QC conspires against employees they want to get rid of for any BS reason.
It has been done to me and others I know personally.
There are two methods they use.
One to get rid of managers (like Directors).
One to get rid of worker bees.
If you are a manager and someone in the "kingdom he has built" doesn't like you. Then they first take away all your reports. Then they tell you they don't have any tasks for you right now. This goes on for weeks to months. They hope you will get frustrated and look for work in another division. If you can't they continue to basically isolate you from information, not invite you to any meetings, not give you any tasks to do or put you on any project. Then at the last of it your supervisor is told not to speak to you at all. This forces you to call HR and discuss what's going on. They play dumb and suggest maybe you would be happier at another company. Trying to get you to resign.
If you are a worker bee then they do exactly what the writer of this post said. The leader(s) of your project stop answering your email and make it seems like they are just too busy. "it's your job to find out the info you need". They give you tasks and a timeline that is impossible to meet. And they sometimes give you tasks that you're not fully qualified to do. But they won't give you the info or tools to do the job. Again they isolate you from info and tools. Then after a couple of weeks they tell you that you are failing at your job and claim "other engineers are accomplishing the same tasks just fine". This is ILLEGAL! But hard to prove. Collusion, conspiring, and retaliation are ILLEGAL!.
Make sure you send email to your supervisor and tell them directly and clearly that "I am trying to do my job but my emails are not being responded to by (name) and (name). I am not getting critical information or tools I need to be able to do my job."
Also, cc yourself on your own personal email address to have copies of all conversations in case you need to present evidence to a lawyer.
Ask other worker bees on your project about the tasks you are performing (via email if possible to have it documented) and that they may also be performing. Ask them how long it took them or is taking them to be proficient at it. Then you know the proper timeline so when QC ambushes you in a one-on-one meeting you will know they are lying. Then consider talking to a Labor Attorney before you resign per QCs request or be put on a PIP.
It is such a shame that this is what QC has come to. It use to be very different with hard working, honest people all willing to help each other learn and get better.
THAT's what made us successful. Irwin would be ashamed.
