I heard there's a large law firm in Houston that will start airing a commercial ad on TV this Friday looking for employees in the energy sector who feel they have a discrimination case against their company. Seems like they want to build class-actions against the big fish in the industry. Keep an eye out for it. It will air on the local TV channels off and on for a month or two. Interesting.
Portions of CNAEP Land are finding out this week if you are under scope of the RAE (Resource Adjustment Exercise). Anyone who has received a 2- or 3 on their PMP in the last 3 years is under review and results will be communicated within two weeks. Additionally, if you are under scope, you will not be allowed to post for any of the openings currently listed for the Fall PDC.
RAE means "Real Angry Employees", but the company would have another name, I'm sure!
HR reps are the throne polishers. They don't make the decisions, the managers do. Next, PGPA takes an old announcement form and updates it. Then they gather approvals. Some big shots didn't approve the headcount in time. Everyone knows that.

If this is true, HR heads should be on the block. There is NO excuse for this ineptitude.
