Does anyone know if the Vuforia group was affected? Just starting a big project using that software and might have to rethink it!!!

i heard the vuforia team in Vienna is shittin bricks now, they're too small to be viable. Zurich was just an aqui-hire for some PhDs from ETH, they'll likely leave too since they're so small.
Doesn't look like much insight from the Vuforia folks or anyone remotely related to the product. Save 1. Don't make decisions based on this thread so far.

Vuforia is the virtual reality app brand name. Internally developed and augmented with a small company acquisition in Zurich. Not sure how it fits in the overall portfolio of the Q but of the emerging businesses it seems to have more promise than most. Just not sure how it compliments chip sales. Possible spinoff ala Gimbal, Pettracker (Tag)
You kidding? They just made it a paid app and lost very little customer base in the process. I'm sure it's going to be fine.

What is Vuforia's potential? It's lingering for couple of years with nothing to show.Why this project need to exist when we are tight on money,someone's pet project?
