I am a rather large man. I was an offensive guard for a Major Div I program. 6'5" 325 pounds. I never thought in my wildest dreams that being big would come in handy at a fortune 3 company. Chevron being nerd central, means I am not threatened or bullied. I shit bigger than the size of most supervisors. But to even bring this up is totally bizarre. I truly thought I was going crazy and seeing stuff that was not there, yelling, screaming grabbing employees by the arm, physical threats. But there is no doubt the Chevron Way truly is about being a bully and a DICK! IF YOU PSYCHICALLY THREATEN ANYBODY IN ANY OTHER COMPANY YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY FIRED. At Chevron you get promoted?

It doesn't matter if the meeting was off site, if it's a team meeting, workers comp applies. .They will likely settle with you,

I was pushed at an off site team meeting by an angry supervisor. I questioned the use of a contractor that is also a relative. He became irate. I was disabled before the incident with a degenerative bone disease. I may be saying to much information here but I am alone and afraid. Many days I have to use a walker, because of limited mobility. I can not put any weight on my wrist and therefore can not use my walker. I am quite the opposite of you. I am 5,7" 128 pounds in my late 50's. The supervisor who physically assaulted me is over 6 feet 250 pounds and in his early 40's. I did call 911 and filed a police report. The 2 other people in the room including my supervisor said I fell. With my condition I am on a blood thinner and bruise very easily. In the hospital a very well defined bruise of a palm became visible on my chest where the supervisor pushed me. The doctor called a police detective to come to my hospital room for suspected assault. The detective took pictures and started an investigation. I was in a short term care facility because of lack of mobility. I was released several days ago and am getting my affairs in order. The hospital tried to file the bills under worker compensation but my boss said I fell on my own accord. The meeting was offsite so workers compensation was denied by Chevron. A co worker called me and said I am going to be layed off. I have an appointment Friday with a dear friend who is a personal injury attorney. Please pray for me and my situation.
