Everyone subject to random testing beginning in a month. Spend a few thousand to find people they can fire instead of layoff? Genius or a waste of time?

It was on ours, but it was gone nearly in an instant!
Rudys didn't make it up to our floor today. Sad day for the 3rd floor.
Yeah you have to get there relatively early, because the vultures from all around come in and eat everything! Today is Rudy's day, and that always disappears in a hurry!
I just went to the empty office of goodies but everything was gone :( I guess the feeding frenzy takes place first thing at 8 a.m. Boo! Save me a chick-fil-a chicken biscuit next time!
@koolaidman, our boss gets itemized receipts accounting for it all daily. But feel free to inquire if you require proof. He's always close by.
@singleandreadytomingle, I've had to move multiple times as well, but not nearly as many times as you!
Further down which hall? Hopefully one of the cool halls!
Lol @ I love that age range! Free food and charming men, I need to get an office on the second floor. Actually I used to have an office on the second floor, then I got moved to the third floor and then they moved me again further down the hall. I've moved offices 9 times in the last two years!
It may not add value, but it will sure cut down on overhead when people start failing randoms. I take it you are higher than a giraffe's pussy right now since that doesn't make sense to you.
Grab and go is fine? That's splendid because I hate small talk! Will they have the dollar amounts of the items so I can report it on the Vendor Gift Reporting site? I don't want to be in violation of the ethics code for not reporting it!
So in the middle of a downturn they are Implementing a policy that will add costs, but won't benefit the company or shareholders whatsoever? Brilliant! Guess this gives new meaning to the D.D. Doug moniker
What a coincidence, I love that age range. It's in office 2229. If you come out of the elevator by the receptionist, head straight down the hallway directly in front of you and it'll be way down there on your right. Empty office, normally full of food. Most of the guys around there aren't the best at having a normal friendly conversation, so feel free to grab and go.
I'm thinking tomorrow for Panera day. I should be easy to spot since I'm in the 35-40 range and pretty much everyone else is the 20-30 year old range......does really nothing for my ego :(
What elevator is it by? The one that leads down to the receptionist or the one by the ramp exit?
Sad day for Floor#3. The 2nd floor would still like to run into you at the free breakfast gathering place.
I'm way to lazy to walk across the street to the parking garage.
If that happened he could still meet you in the garage for lunch time quickies. Silver lining people!
What happens if we have a romantic 3rd floor lunch, fall madly in lust for each other and then suddenly you get laid off?? Not sure my heart could handle it.
@singleandreadytomingle you sound hot. I would like to meet you. Can I prepare you a free meal on the 3rd floor? As long as you're not a dude....
I will definitely be down there next week checking out the spread, especially on Panera day!
2nd!
What freaking floor are you on??? Sounds like I'm missing out on a lot!! I want in on it!
Monday's they have Chick-Fil-A burritos and chicken biscuits. Tuesday's they have Panera sandwiches and such, Wednesday's Rudy's, Thursday's cinnamon rolls, bagels, parfaits and such. Some days have fruits and medleys, just can't remember which ones!
Interesting, I thought we were the only privileged ones. My favorite is when they bring Chick-fil-a but you gotta get in there fast or it's gone.
We too have Rudy's on Wednesdays....hmmmm. But not on the 3rd floor
We usually have Rudy's BBQ brisket burritos every Wed. in the kitchen or doughnuts. Come on over to the 3rd floor for some good eats.
Our vendors don't bring anything on Fridays :/ only Monday through Thursday unfortunately
No offense taken! I like my floor, the contractors bring goodies. Sonic breakfast burritos this morning in the kitchen!
Proper floor then? Or garage? Haha I hope I didn't offend you with the tech comment!
I'm in building 15!!! :(
The techs in 15 are infested, and the supervisors in 14 are...happy middle ground would be the garage between the two
Building 15 is Aids infested. Try building 14.
@singleandreadytomingle try building 15?
Laymeoffplease: What building should I be in?
Anon 127106...gotta be in the right building, and you can a lot more than eye candy. Steroid free of course.
On another note, the idea of implementing a drug testing program instead of layoffs would be pointless. It would add yet another cost and they wouldn't catch enough people to justify it.
I want to know why we can't keep our crackers and peanut butter, but we can have this stupid coin. Waste.
Magic mushrooms will be provided in all the kitchens and are not being tested for. Maybe someone in this company will create some value finally.
I agree with Mr. Steroids, I wouldn't mind seeing some ripped, muscular men walking around campus. A little eye candy is just what my day needs!
Nothing in the policy about steroids. Let's Get BIG!!!!!
Doubt their will be much random testing on campus...it's expensive
Crafty and genius !! Most of IT and Accounting will be sent home. LOL
All the good drugs that are worth doing are out of your system within a couple days; this new policy won't bother anyone but the people that work at the restaurants.
All of the potheads probably left for AEP already.
Just curious. Does anyone know of a person who was terminated bc of drug tests. A good friend of mine was but that was field/rig. What about campus?
