They should put up a suicide net around all those tall buildings like WT and the parking stuctures before they announce layoffs. Might prevent a few jumpers. Really guys your home country cannot be that bad.

you know, i worked for that electric company that laid off alot of people. before layoffs one of our coworkers died, actually several had heart attacks and several died (stress, working too much) when my friend died, I realized nobody really cared. life went on at work , she was always very concientious with work a very hard worker but look where it got her, nowhere, dead, she deeloped an autoimmune disease, i say from stress. Thats when I changed my work habits. I stopped working overtime and i stopped caring, I just did my work and started going home on time. Nobody cared whether I stayed or went home. Thats when I realized we put stress on ourselves. We give all for the company, I gave 14-16 hours a day, and what did it get me? unemployment. So F it. never again. Gone are the days where companies care about you, they really dont care, so I will give a fair honest days work , and after that, go home no overtime, no rushing to finish up, no stress. no more.
Even if you have to make a statement about the workplace, you don't commit suicide; especially for Qualcomm indoctrination. You can move on with your life.
You don't commit suicide at work unless you are making a statement about work.
The second was personal health reasons. A friend of mine knows the family and shared some details. Nothing to do with work or QC.
Their life must have been hell at QC to do something like this at the workplace; especially if they had option to start over somewhere else or maybe go back to their country.
It is sad because these 2 lives (and their families) could have been saved by the right coaching, away from the Q propaganda machine.
Or call the suicide hotline, I did when they let me go
Qualcomm doesn't give a f about the person. They'd probably actually prefer them to die, if it weren't for the liabilities involved and negative publicity. No I don't want anyone to take their life. But if anyone is going to do it because of what Qualcomm has done to their life, do it at Qualcomm. Shine some light on this shole. Good, f*** Qualcomm
Maybe it's "The Qualcomm Way" of being transparent.
It is interesting that the 1st suicide made the news. As for the 2nd one, QC effectively "covered up" or kept it out of the media. You won't find anything in the news about it at all.
It's strange how QC was able to diminish the media attention about these 2 separate tragedies that happened in the workplace. Just like if it had something to hide.
Good..QCOM business liability insurance must have put that condition in policy after paying out large claims in recent years.
They locked the balcony doors
It's not sick. Its reality. There were 2 past actual incidences which resulted in death.
Stop crying ,grow up, go find a job and innovate else where .
Why you are messing up with Q suicide facility?
