The young ones with big egos are already starting to piss on the old ones who trained them in the first place.

So sad. This was such a nice company when there were < 5000 of us.

The current review ratings are not fair, just like all review ratings before them. This time they're going to be worse. I'm not going to sugar coat anything like everyone else. I went through it, and I got terminated. Expect to be fed to the Lions by your peers. Expect your boss and everyone else around you to pretend like everything is OK. If you have any sort of gut feeling things are not what they're supposed to be, I recommend you start looking for a job right away. I wish I would have. We live in a real world, unfortunately not an ideal world. Eat or be eaten. If you're an introvert and soft spoken, you're done. The loud mouth and the people who suck up to the bosses are safe. I love names people who are of this nature but if you've worked at Qualcomm one enough you already know who they are. " why wait to terminate"?

It means we need to kiss lead's ass to get good rating? or as lead is getting reviewed himself so he need to be fair this time?

Does lead know if he is safe?.His perception and rating will be greatly affected by his mood.

Performance numbers are based exclusively on your lead's perception of you. If the lead is busy or uninformed you will suffer. If your lead likes you they will fight for you otherwise you will suffer.
