Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

"Friend and family plans" and "freaks"

Why is no one talking about the real problem! The people that have made it through time and time again. These are the friends or family of the upper management and the ones that are sleeping with other people. You have people in ITC, high level managers that sleep with their contractors (contractor gets fired, manager still has a job). People in PRC that are sleeping with each other at forums and out on MCPs. People in ETC that are entitled babies of chevron employees past, but can get out of bed without a map. Leader how can't lead a horse to water, they are nothing but paper pushers( do your CCAT, BBS, and oops your did not take all of your workpace breaks). People that have been on PIMPs (more than 1or 2) still make it through, time and time again! That is what is wrong with our "Chevron Way", no one has the guts to say it, and our management has let it happen! People with good morals are looked over or they get tired and leave. Which now that I think about it, hell I just described out country. I guess I am moving to my beach house!

The story is actually true. I actually know them both, the network manager and the PDR lady (ex wife). Both of them are very competent managers and they're pulling their weight just fine. Morally we all make mistakes so don't let that get in the way. Many folks are screwing at work day in an day out, managers or just regular people. So don't bitch about it. Are you morally CLEAN? I am not.

The line crossed here and I know managers at Chevron in San Ramon screwing ladies for promotions. Most of his ladies got pretty high up, just connect the dots. And this IDIOT is still around taking yoga classes. Look up his calendar. DaBoom some of that Van

Don't believe me... Ask your admins! The ITC manager that was sleeping with his contractor, his wife works at Chevron. In fact she is one of the IT sponsors. Why don't you ask around why she took a six month leave of absent, after the scandal broke. Ask some of your PRC friends, if the sleeping around at forums is true. Not say everyone does it, note the title "freaks". - and now you know!

I agree with business making decisions.. how about letting the incompetence managers, young supervisors with ZERO leadership skill, and personal skill go first and then go after the regular folks... most of you guys are living in a fantasy land and seems obvious that you close your eyes to reality... how many times we have seen a bad decision made by managers caused loss in money...

I am a contractor and with some of the attitudes that I see, some need to be gone. Instead of being appreciative for past employment, some of you act like Chevron owes you. The layoffs are simply a business decision for the survival of the company. We have been paid well for what we've done. Be thankful for the past while you plan for the future.
