So if somebody went from 2- three years ago, had two straight 2+'s in a new role and is trending they same, they are gone? That's good for the company?
The management process is your gone. Third party firm gathering the information and if you make the list you are out. They were projecting 24 billion more in revenue as projections were based on $70 a barrel oil. This is an add on to compensate for what truly no one thought would come to fruition. Well most did not see oil at 50 for a long term price. Now these will not be layoffs but performance firings. People will get severances and the same package but won't be included in "layoffs". Same result but better perception to the public/shareholders. I can say this was around long enough that managers gave bad evaluations to good employees because of personality conflicts. I have witnessed it.
Management is supposed to be conducting a review process for everyone in scope. Just because you fall into that category doesn't mean you're gone. Would love to know more about that "process" though!

This also includes anyone trending downward this year also in performance so it doesn't matter if the employee has done well the last 3 years if they are below preface currently this year
