Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

ROOM BOOKING stays, and 1500 employees are gone.. such a sound business decision made by incompetent elites.

I call them the nap panels. Freakin nap rooms are awesome. Just need a lock on the door so I don't have to nap against to door to keep people from coming in the room

The room booking tool is a godsend! Too many conference rooms were being held by groups on their floors and never used. Now all conference rooms are open to all and can be booked either via the room booking tool online or on the fly at the panel. I'm surprised we didn't implement such a commonsense tool years ago.

As long as they were taking safety naps, I don't see that as a bad use of a room. Gotta stay safe and avoid LTI's.

Disagree to many people were booking those rooms to take naps in. The touch panels keep people honest and nap free.

It was really fun meeting with suppliers to talk about how we need pricing concessions because money is tight, etc. in a conference room with brand new furniture and workers installing new touch screens right outside!

Someone needs to look under the covers and get rid of it....the money to maintain is wasteful.
