I have been working for chevron foor 15 yrs and i have never had a bad PMP.. But im also not a person who joins any work place clicks !!!!! The PMP process with chevron is the most unfair want to judgea employee perform. If your supervisor dose not like u are you are to smart for him he will never rank you correctly.. This is a sad day for Chevron... Good employees will lose their career because of this process

Fair? My coworker got a -2 for a bad BBS observation. That is funny actually. He is a top performer and would be anywhere. His boss did not like him at BP and took care of him because he was excellent at his job. One was a very liberal guy the other very conservative. It's not about like its about respect. For the poster who said what boss gives a good ranking to an employee he does not like. Outside of Chevron a large majority. Oh and he is going back to BP Monday the lucky Son of a bitch!

PMP is the most jacked up process ever created. I have seen people put stupid things in the PMP that is totally not aligned with company's benefit, and they do their upmost effort to achieve that goal.

Yep. They are in air, cbres, HR, all the bullshit functions which require no skill aside from making it out of bed in the morning.
This is BS, one may have a bad year due to personal issue, health and etc.. how about letting upper manager's kids who got hired just because they are related go first...
Its so funny how this person is only pointing out that the system is wrong.. But people think he is lazy or not doing his job.. Life is unfair at times but its the only life we have... I understand what you mean my friend and just remember put your faith in God no. t man... Then you will see life can be fair..

One way to be liked more is to quit whining about fairness and focus on doing excellent work. People, including managers, prefer to deal with hard working people who have a positive attitude and don't want to work with people who sit around whining and moaning all day.
