I just heard CEO of Chevron is going to be fired in late 2015. My brother works at Chevron and people have been gossiping around this topic for about 2 weeks. Chevron's CEO has been frustrated and angry about all the rumors. Is there anyone who also has heard about this topic? Can you confirm it or deny it? Thanks in advance.

George Kirkland did not time his exit... he turned 65 years of age. All executives must retire when they become 65 years of age, you dim-wit!
I would bet that Chevron director that recently bought $19 million of stock at $108 per share is pretty pissed now. His loss to date is about $3.6 million.
Many find it telling that Watson was absent for the earnings report call (the worst earnings report in 13 years).
Kirkland sure as hell timed his retirement well. I'm sure that was no coincidence. And he was the only exec who had a f'ing clue.
Yes, us engineers know nothing about money? What's that? I don't understand? Give me a f***ing break. The problem are managers trying to make themselves look good through unethical means.
Engineers are totally ignorant about business and economics.
That is a trial balloon. Watson is a financial guy who was bamboozled by engineers and consultants and he bought into the shale gale at the peak of prices, paid too much for Atlas and had wild guesstimates that there was shale gas in Poland and that LNG would replace coal.
Lol on tugboat Captain. Not sure when but Watson will step down as the projects do not come on line and the huge decision on massive projects eats cash flow.
Wonder if your brother heard that from a tug boat captain, cook or salesman. Those guys usually know before everyone.
