Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Now management don't trust employees

They recently pushed a software called AD Enterprise to everyone. This is a forensic disk software that allows for silent remote disk imaging and activity logging... industrial strength.

They don't need an enterprise-wide package to dismiss you, all that is needed is simple firewall logs to show a violation of the Internet Acceptable Use policy. This is not all that different from making personal phone calls, printing out recipes, copying documents, taking a long lunch, etc. If you don't abuse these then you have nothing to be concerned about. If you're streaming Game Of Thrones all day from HBOGo then it might be a problem.

Hey, idiot. Who said anything about Chevron having to subpoena this site for anything! Suffice for them to know you are farting around here to get your ass canned. Go ahead people and follow this turd's advice.

There's nothing wrong visiting this site on a company server. Sure you should probably be working. But nothing is going to happen. I can see the news story now "chevron sopenas anonymous posting site layoffs.com to target whistle-blowers". Yeah that sounds like a good idea

I don't pretend. And yes, I think seriously about what I say and write. Go ahead and keep visiting this site using the Chevron server. You will give the company a reason to ROM you out.

Anonymous128877; You pretend you work for Chevron yet you know no facts about it. What you've written there is fantasy. you should work on the game of Thrones scripts. Thats absolute nonsense. Its because of fools like you writing nonsense like this that companies have to track data anyway. Anonymous128826 its not designed to stop the good guys, its designed to keep the bad ones out. Seriously think of what you lot write.

My manager was screwing his staff for decades literally and figuratively lol. They pulled all the women emails. A month later they asked me specific questions on a contract. It was very obvious that they read through each and every email. As stated they can as it is company property.

This software has been around for quite sometime within chevron, if you are doing your job you have nothing to worry about if they check your history. If you spend your day trolling on here maybe you should be nervous.

Don't put it past the company to spy on you. They have made this very public several times in official memos and bundled in HR emails... They even can snoop in on your Instant Messaging (Link Communicator) chats. So be careful. If you have your own personal mobile phone, this is the way you should access this website, and the only safe way to message your colleagues in Chevron. If you communicate via Chevron email, chat or other company controlled media, you can get burned.

They've been pushing to improve IT. It's designed for intrusion investigation but it can do pretty much anything. Anyone know the true intentions?
