Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

I wonder why so many well qualified hardware/software engineers with US citizenship say they can't find a job when Northrop Grunmman is hiring.

@Anonymous129421, I'm not a beggar. So how many civilian kills you got under your SW belt? Are those resume highlights?

Anonymous129562, Walmart.com is hiring, and they do probably need some of you script-kiddies... And they are paying close to $200k in total comp for it.

Anonymous129428 is an idiot... When we do retaliate against bad actors we get shit for being a bully and wasting treasure.

Damned if you do .... Damned if you don't. Thanks for your lack of support either way, just spare me who bad we are versus people who's primary target is civilians.

Americans want the jobs at QC not NGC. This is the problem. Americans can't get in due to the corrupt hiring practices at QC and the conniving Indians who only want to hire their co-villagers.

Military hardware and software also has some "unique" aspects that most civilians or engineers employed in private industry are not familiar with--like military-specific applications, or the fact that a lot of it must support enterprise applications.

We get all bent out of shape when there is one America victim of terrorism. No one gives a $hit when dozens of foreigners are killed by IED, friendly fire, collateral damage, etc. US weapons contribute to more deaths around the world than any other country.

A lot of the companies are willing to apply for security clearance for you. None of the people that crossed over had any issues getting a security clearance, granted they had to way for it and couldn't actually work on the project while they were being cleared.

Most of us don't have Active Top Secret Clearance. That's why. I could give f*** whether the company makes chemical weapons or cat food. TSCl is required in most instances. Ex military preferred. So it's not like we're not trying.

Wow....Apparently a lot of you are still so goddamn arrogant despite being faced with a job loss, that you would rather spend your time crying over spilled milk than to get a job at another company. Do you guys really believe you are "too good" for those jobs. Wow. Self-entitlement issues...Definitely must be progressive liberal millenials. Well, there's always another option. You can always move back in with your parents.

Maybe some US citizens don't want to build weapons.
