Maybe the replacements will have fresh ideas and quit doing some things the old way that isn't working.
Plenty of free money with all the mgmt leaving. And Anonymous129616 they're not replacements theyre future bosses. You dont need a degree to be mgmt, just have to be willing to learn and work. With oil under $50 a bbl you cant expect to keep doing the same thing and make money.
It takes more than hard work. It takes a manager willing to let you go to move up. They may say they wont hold you back but some will. It has happened to me. I have been told why i didnt two jobs which were advancements in my career. Both occasions were managers werent willing to let me go.....
You don't need a degree to get promoted here. It just takes hard work and dedication to move up they just don't want the lazy ones in management anymore.
Apparantly they mean something if wft wants them. I know some guys who hot passed up on jobs because they didnt have degrees.
Degrees are cheap nowdays. 10K online, there is your bachelors degree, nobody-heard-about-this-school kind of brand on the degree but, nobody fails, they want your money. University of Phoenix is expensive, there are better options - Fort Hays University is about 12K total (three or four years), Walden Uni is cheap, there is a ton of state schools under 10K online. If you want an AA degree, it gets even cheaper and easier. Degrees mean nothing today.
they just recently promoted an area manager and DM in our region and either one of them has a degree.
Wonder if that will apply for supervisors as well.
It was online, it had spell check.. duh...lmao
I'm going to guess that you didn't have to spell Phoenix while you attended the University?!?
That's what I've heard. Just like everyone says the ship is sinking!!
So any manager that doesnt have a degree will be let go??? That sounds a little far-fetched. Its a good thing im a pheonix. University of pheonix in the house!!
Say hello to your replacements. Swift and Blanton made it clear in Denver they will have no employees in management positions that do not have a degree.
They are the new future of WFT!!
What about using shipping containers which could comfortably house10 engineers
How else would you do it? Would you put them in tents?
