Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Layoff benefits

Talked to my friend at Shell they said they are seeing people get 30 to 45 days at the office after notice before layoff and then 30 days pay after layoff.

From rumors I gear it does not sound like chevron is going to get anywhere close to that.

Depends what group you are in and what your layoff falls under. If it's part of RAE, you get 60 days on payroll and then severance.

How do you gear a rumor Anonymous130566? Go ask your mother. She whispered it in my ear last night, before blowing me. You will get paid to early December as the post below indicates.

You will get paid to December then get your severance. That may change after the most current earnings call but that is the plan. So it is more generous than Shell. Many companies in oil and gas offer a slight better severance though...

How do you gear a rumor? Does a rumor have a transmission or something. I'm confused.
