Many of Follett's successes are attributable to Mike.

Follett has finally nailed the final nail in its own coffin by letting MT go... truly a disgrace to see someone put out to pasture way before his time.

There will be more to come. Who didn't see this coming. Poor results this year, plus MT reporting to GA so that he could train her. Why isn't PS, GT, MG, TK responsible for poor textbook performance. Can't wait to see GA work her magic.

Record the meetings, if possible. File all necessary claims if Follett is not abiding by the law.

If a former colleague's lawyer calls and asks to speak with you, please talk with them. As you see here, you can't hide during this reign of terror. If a more senior person wants you out, you're out. If you're targeted, begin compiling notes. Look through your employee file (you'd be surprised at the things are that are there and the things that are missing). Document EVERYTHING. Memorialize every meeting and print off a copy of the summary email for your personal file. Remember, you're a dead man walking. You have a target on your back. They can't fire you twice, and they've already decided to fire you. Too many of us were run out without the benefit of a severance package. We put in decades of work helping the company and helping our colleagues. I'm pleading with you, if you get that call, please tell what you know. The only one to benefit from this continued pattern of running out tenured people who know this business, is the jack asses who've taken this company. We need to stick together.

It was bad enough when they demoted him and kept the reorganization secret. But you had to know that GT would eventually get rid of him, that man has no scruples and thinks he knows everything. Should be an interesting year, this just adds to the drama.

MT was more valuable than his boss, or his boss's boss.

MT is a man, liked, and respected by all. He contributed greatly to success Follett had. If there was publicly traded stock, there would be a selloff today.

Perhaps his knowledge and power to influence made him a threat to other VP(S) or DG. If RG knew what Follett was losing, he would go to MT's house and get him back.
