Recently received an email from HR stating the need to discuss a matter that came across her desk??? What can this mean I have been a model employee??????? Scary!!!

When mangers are short staffed they will call HR and place you on the internal do not re-hire list.
They will also do this to people who they feel cannot be lost to other departments. I have seen them fake low performance to keep people. Just the opposite effect to eliminate you when they wish. Both tricks working for the good of the bank.
They are digging deep so they can justify getting rid of people and not pay a severence.
It's crazy. You just basically have to shut up because management don't have your back at all they are looking out for themselves. I'm sure they are kissing up to their bosses so when a layoff does happen in their dept, they can feel secure they will have another job to transfer to. Do not put your trust in them.
Time to start using ghetto tactics outside work.
Tactics reversed = Fear promotes order and brings out well controlled humanity.
