A downstream might not know about DWEP. They live in another dimension. As far as Pritchett's cheerleading sessions, we were happy to see him move on from Houston.

Greg Pritchett left DWEP for being quite frankly incompetent. He landed in AMBU and then from the word got demoted, Then got promoted to HES Manager in SJVBU. If you miss him come on out to Bakersfield. The gay safety manager is here. What a boob!

These "protected class" people are a distraction. The company has coddled these types for too long, purely out of political correctness. I say - If they are good employees at their job, keep them. But if they can't pull their weight, fire them in a heartbeat. During these ROMs and RAEs is the best opportunity the company has to clean house.

Is the Gay Safety Manager there Craig or Greg? I have never met a person in any field that knew less than him. His OE jingles?? I soon realized he will never get back to you because he truly does not know truly simple shit like confined space entry or Hazcom. His meetings with the field workers are legendary in Chevron. If it was not so sad it would be funny. If he is still there they won't fire him he will get promoted! Chevron Way. Be a total f*** up and move up!

When Chevron announced that it canceled a tender process for a high-spec drillship in the Gulf of Mexico that was going to be awarded to Pacific it was a slam dunk DWEP is also having issues and that is to be expected. Pacific Drilling was the likely winner of this tender and already moved the Pacific Meltem ship to the Gulf of Mexico.

This is an upsetting and costly situation for PACD, which will have to idle the Pacific Meltem. Chevron Gave their word to PACD and said move the ship all is on track. First mistake trusting Chevron. Second mistake you are a big company get a signed contract. But this was out of desperation for Chevron. They do not have free cash flow for this expense.
