I can name a few dozen role models for Wally.
You realize that Scot Adams (author of Dilbert) got much of his material from Chevron, right? Many years ago he worked for Pacific Bell in San Ramon and car pooled with Chevron people. Hence the similarities between Dilbert's organization and Chevron.
