Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Too many changes to keep up with just initials

So many people have changed in the last 2 years.....so, if you can, be a but more specific when posting with initials. We know who the biggest players are.....SS, DG, RG, MLS, GT, etc. But, a lot of the players have changed, so if possible, please give dept and title.

The company just keeps getting lower and lower... like letting go or drive them to resign the people who made the book industry and this company a respectable and profitable organization... now you have a bunch of nit wits calling the shots... hell a bunch of dim witted backward hicks could make a profit and get this company back on track before the new leadership can spell FOLLETT.

And with Suzanne Marcus's departure and promotion to VP of a new HR of a less than a year employee who was responsible for system roll outs, another chapter closes. Rush? Why the hell should I care? Just another excuse to be told how incompetant we are at the store level.

As long as you know what "BS" stands for and as long as you can smell the "BS" then you are good to go with Follett.

Everyone who was replaced with an OM, Sears or Kmart person, raise your hand! Wow, there are sure a lot of us!

You have a 30% chance of getting it right if you guess the new employee is from Office Depot (which of course was owned by KMart in the past), Sears or KMart. Why do we need so many in HR if our hiring pool consists of just three companies and old friends?

Another office max director with absolutely no experience in their roll. Wonder what her salary is?

Well, here's a new one; Jenn Daly joins as new director of distribution. Her previous job? 16 years of 'progressive responsibilities' with Office Depot.

I was thinking the same thing, having a hard time trying to figure out who people are talking about.
