Lol, CHK has been a third tier sewer for years now. People who work there would do well to start hunting for their next mcjob now rather than later.

Several more analysts downgrading CHK stock today. One even put the EOY target price at $6. Operations aside, the stock has been and will continue to get pummeled in this environment. Regardless what Dougie says in his town halls, his number one responsibility is to maximize shareholder value. One of the few things he can actually control is headcount, so something has to give.
I know plenty of people that have their heads down and sacrificing their daily lives for CHK with no recognition, so... Sounds like the corporate ass kissers need to be the ones let go, but they'll slide right through a lay off.
What kind of idiots hope for their company to fail? if those negative people think they can manage better, become a CEO yourself and lets see how you do...Otherwise shutup, heads down and work your but toff to make things better.

I am positive. Positive we're going to have layoffs. I'm not worried about benefits or pay. Guessing you should be though. Sounds like you're positive you've peaked in terms of pay and benefits. Guess it's all downhill from here. Sucks to be you.
Blah blah. There's been people predicting the "end" of CHK for decades. To sift off millions for himself - AKM almost sank the ship. As a result its going to take MORE work to make it a VIABLE INVESTMENT and a successful company. The commodity environment makes it even more brutal. SO - Keep the thoughts positive- there's enough negative out there.
What are we supposed to get from this? Are you reveling in schadenfreude? Should I just quit right now and hope to find a job close to the benefits and pay? Are you self-hating your company? It sounds like you enjoy misery so why don't you just binge watch the Lifetime Channel and eat yourself into a food coma you negative prick.
