I just want to say good luck to all of you that received letters of your possible layoff tomorrow.
Though I feel there are some that may deserve the action I hate the thought of anyone losing their job in these trying times.
Its going to be a hard day at the office tomorrow for sure.

If I get laid off I will not go back in the industry. With oil going to $30 bl, this city will become the next Detroit. Things don't look good for at least the next 5 yrs. time to get outta Dodge. Wait till the Saudis dump their oil cheap.
I got axed in the 2010 Downstream ROM. Yes, there is life after Chevron, yes, today's job market is rough, but keep trying and striving. I hope that your next position is rewarding, challenging, well compensated, and without all these foolish, motivation-sapping CVX "processes".
