Wes Lohes is a name. Not an acronym. Use your white pages search to find out.
Yeah, you work in ETC and don't know who he is.
"What is lohec?" Buddy, you don't work for CVX if you are asking that one.
Chevron has a lot of spreadsheet jocks, DAs or whatever. Totally useless fat.
Do you mean the PRC, OE/ HES org chart? If so its on page 17 of the link from Lohec.

What is lohec?
I worked in ETC a few years ago. What a waste of talent. All the smart kids with Ph.D.'s and MS working on absolutely useless stuff. I remember going to a townhall once, and Melody Meyer proudly presenting Intersect as ETC's greatest achievement. So many smart people and all you could come up with was a freaking software, that pretty much does what the other software did, but just more complicated.
Middle management has no clue as to how to bring in business. The only questions they would ask is about BBS and timesheet inputs?
Anyways the further you are from the money, the less important you are.

Is the PRC org chart out yet?
Not too surprising. ETC has gotten very large over the years, trying to leverage expertise across the whole upstream. Unfortunately in this environment, the further you are from the wellhead the harder it is to justify your salary. When the company recovers, management may regret cutting so much technical support but in the short term they can make deep cuts in ETC without losing production. With all the monumental project screwups I hope they really clean house in PRC. Of course the high-level managers are safe, unfortunately...
Thanks. Good luck to you all. Maybe I should go back to school for a year or two.
Earth Science is especially hit hard
Are the petrophysicists safe? I am looking for that type of role
I'm looking at the email from Wes too. Not looking promising.
