Do you think it was fair of them to have those that got let go attend work for "business as usual" this week while sitting in meetings and listening to others joke about the layoffs? This is not the Chevron I knew. We could've been saved the heartache and embarrassment by being let go last Thursday. I always felt like a person there, but the way this was handled made me feel just like a number. Things weren't handled appropriately, and I lost a lot of respect for the company. Please know that we aren't all bitter and vindictive. We are people that worked hard to provide for our families and have to start all over. Have some respect. Remember, this was just the first round!
