I have not knowingly reported to any diverse managers other than my current manager and I am not fully understanding how a diversity lunch or the sexual orientation of a manager sinks a ship. If that was the case navy ships would be sinking daily. I believe poor decisions, lack of controls and true perf mgt is the issue. Risk takers should be rewarded but taking risk coupled with poor decision making should be rewarded with a pink slip.
