place could implode at any minute leaves employees bewildered. The appropriate support needed to handle the amount of student flow is completely inadequate. They have chopped too many heads where they are needed most. This organization will fail and there is no saving it at this point. Go FTC! You can't close the doors fast enough.

@084 - good point. I'm a longhorn and there are plenty of people there who admitted being there because they wanted to collect a check. You're right, it's "all politics" and for-profits have the spotlight.
making student loans less accessible means that even the Ivy Leagues would suffer. It's all politics. Don't feed on the bullshit the news media and government feed you. For years they have always been excellent at turning the spotlight on others to deter us from the truth. We know their systems are full of loopholes, inadequate and incredibly inefficient.
050 you are right but this loan situation is really a function of the gov't/corporation complex getting together to screw everybody involved. No one is left unscathed.
You guys are so full of sh1t! It's not the institutions who are the scammers. It's the Feds scamming millions into borrowing for their own gain on high interests loans. They very well know that setting poor lending requirements is a bad habit. If they didn't learn from the housing market then quite frankly, they're just plain F***IN STUPID!
I wish they would just gut federal dollars for all for profits, all of these shady diploma mills need to close and claw back as much as they can while allowing the millions of victims to bankrupt or void the life crushing debts they got stuck with because of it.
