If someone can accurately explain this process.. Will all employes who were not affected by the RAE have to apply for their current jobs. Does the ROM just involve the employees from the RAE applying for open positions. Not sure I understand the ROM process.

Yeah, right... It didn't happen in '98 and very minimally in '90 when a similar process was used for downsizing the staff. (And those that did take the demotion from Management into a professional job didn't last two years.)

No the RAE has nothing to with the ROM. You will first get an email saying we got to get more efficient. Then a note about reorging. Then a note with new Org Charts. Your job may or may not be there, but it will be about a 30% reduction in head count (going up as oil goes down). If it is you are usually required to apply for it. and then 2-3 other jobs. There is a ROM 1 ROM 2 ROM 3...ROM 1 is half your leadership team gone. Then they apply for your job on ROM 2. For the ROM 2, half the leadership sits around in a big conference room. The jackholes who got us in this mess then pick the half of them that canned for your job. Oh you went to Harvard, invented Hydraulic fracturing, Climbed mount Everest with no food or water just Pabst Blue Ribbon beer and had 1 ratings....well tough shit bucco, move the f*** over because the jackholes are moving in.......Mark my words.....call Houston in a month and you will here this EXACTLY what I said.
