It's been announced that UOP will be closing effective later this year. This is happening because of the lies and greed of executives. Employers will not recognize the degrees. Guess all the shifting and smoke and mirrors wasn't enough to beat the regulators.

It isn't just not recognizing them, it is more with extreme debt burdens that they are rightfully recognized at the lower end but people need high end pay to afford to pay anything back. If the UoP degree cost about 5-10k it might be worth it, but generally they are seen as low tier and if people don't get hired on at a good wage they just plain aren't going to pay anything back and the defaults/complaints are going to pile up.
Hey people, no I saw this on the news this morning, they're suppose to officially announce this in the afternoon' 'too big to fail' ?? say that after they close, just keep saying it; I believe people said the same thing about PanAm right?
You must be a major stock holder. Sorry, UOP is closing, and the lies have been manufactured by Apollo Education Group executives since 2009, if not long before. Make sure you wear your magic red socks today.
Some campuses may close, but University of Phoenix is still "too big to fail" in 2015.
