They outsourced whole departments based on what senior management thought they would save. Cost the company tons of money while senior management got bonuses for their savings. TW is a straight arrow. Never took a dime. Others screwed the company big time.
Now that Tim is leaving, maybe we can put his friends, the store fixture company out to bid for the first time in 15 years. What a joke. Their prices for fixtures are out of site and yet we reduce staff but never bid those folks out.
TW is a prince of a man. He'll be missed. TW I wish you all the best!

We miss TDC. What retailer was lucky enough to pick her up?

The trick is to hire someone from the outside and force the Follett person out. Look at TDC as perfect example. Hire Sears guy and then have her do nothing.
I heard that they already had his replacement in house & the new guy was taking over. Are you sure they hired someone from the outside to replace him & aren't moving someone up from in-house?
It's not even Follett anymore. What do they think they're doing? Maybe we can just swap corporate headquarters and move to Hoffman Estates when Sears goes belly up.
