Students beware! The North Central Association of the Higher Learning Commission, the regional accrediting body that authorizes the University of Phoenix, is pressing a full-scale investigation of recruiting methods and validity of curriculum in all curricula to commence immediately.
As this comes at a difficult time for the university, it may be difficult for the school to legitimize their claims to provide 'quality post-secondary education while employing a high standard'. The rationale is that the university has dropped several programs recently and there is no assurance that the supposed 'higher standards' will be upheld.
Buyer beware! Why would anyone want to go to a school like this?
