What do the packages look like, aren't they required to vest the RSUs?

Been gone a while now (over a year). The shithead who laid me off played favorites. Soon he'll have to lay off his buddies, too, as the tsunami layoff will be too big to protect all of them. Am finding the job market great in NorCal and even the OC. But here in SD, unless your in biocom, not many other jobs to look at. The package was good and the unemployment money (for six months) meant I was making more than my salary for awhile. But now am gonna have to move north to get a decent job. The days of the old Q are long since past and the rats are running for the lifeboats, meaning its every man for himself now. Good luck to all. The tsunami is coming soon. Only question is will it be a category 3 or 5 hurricane with it.

Left in fall of 2013. Was there 10 years, stuck in one rank, I knew I was doomed. When they finally gave me a bonus, I used it to get a 50% pay raise at a better employer north of San Diego. Put your Q years behind you, and go do something else. The company never had a fair promotion system, why should you play in a game rigged against you? Get over it. They are no longer building the wireless world there at Q. They are just treading water now.

Left very recently. Didn't get GTFO pkg. (Heard they aren't giving those out unless they lay you off. Cost-cutting, I suppose. Keep the free soda, but screw the worker-drones!) Had a sh*tload of unused vacation, though. Took some time off to relax and take in the sights I never usually have time for b/c of Q. Brushing up on various developments related to my field. Several offers, but don't really want to move. PO'd that the stock is down and I only have 30 days to exercise my remaining options.

Asked for a package and got one. Now in a better job at a higher rate. Life is good.

Left of my own volition a while ago, so unfortunately no GTFO package. But way better than before. While I miss some of the benefits, my work life has improved dramatically. Little of that corporate bloat where I am now and I feel energized and optimistic about things these days instead of just worn down by the QCT grind.

Better as well, especially with the GTFO package. Didn't realize how boring and narrow scoped my job was at the Q until I started looking elsewhere
