I've seen this before at other companies. Cut IT and internal training before laying off al the staff they supported. Yup, next it will be staff. Big layoffs coming down the pike people, big ones. If you have only been there a short period of time, don't put EDMC on your resume`. It will only hut your chances of becoming emoloyes d again.

If you dont think you are gong to be around much longer, cutting IT makes sense. If the computers really get bogged down, they will just ignore the complaints until they shut the doors. Besides, low cost temp IT is very easy to find these days.
Absolutely--the first thing any company does is level all IT workers--shit who needs them! Watch out for the Asians--they can use abacuses you know! What do you manage some worthless degree college's business program?
