Rumor has it that major layoffs across other units are coming
I know it was over several teams including the entire change management team. The Director has had this in plans for several months know and called the team "Crap" from day one. Told leadership members to "Shut Up and Sit Down" when they expressed their opinion in leadership meetings.
Two new Sr. IT leaders were brought in from Paypal and they are leading a gutting of IT teams regardless of time spent with the company. They have directors who blame their direct reports "Sr. Managers" playing the blame game instead of working to fix the issue. Allstate technology is also infested with Directors and Sr. managers who would rather yell at people instead of learning the facts and trying to work through any issues.
Not the best place to work by far.
