Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

For PSLs to be sold, is Work not returning to at all? Just asking?

As rig count stabilizes, are PSLs to be auctioned off unable to get new work?

Seems like we just have old accounts, while competitors improve job count. Any one else get this feeling?

Oh well, you done gone and a took the wind out my sails now bub. Moving right along pup, the discounting comment was informative, nice point. I'll go away and maybe taunt you folks another day.

7777, you are pathetic. Everything is slow unless you're in the Middle East. There's even pockets of resurgence in areas where people are looking at discounted pricing.

What is your PSL? I don't have the info to supply, but this is a worthwhile question? How bout you other guys? Can you answer this guy's question or are you all sittin around with your assholes all a quiver and your paltry peckers shriveling? Don't look down, you couldn't find it anyway. What say you? Damn!

I just wanted to know if the PSLs going to be sold are having trouble landing new work, as the competition volume creeps up.

Was this problem just in my district, and with my PSL? Any more takers?

Sperry will remain cuz Hal has no choice but to sell the whole PSL as a unit. FTC will not let them sell it off part by part. I am not sure who would buy it. Whoever buys should check and double check to make sure that the technology does what it says. Would not take any NB management. Would take the techs who have been with the product from day one and know all the secrets to get that crap to work.

the takeaway, old product lagging, new product don't work? sound the trumpets and blow the horns, .

SD for the past 20+ years done no innovation or market capturing product thing. Lack to attention to existing product to do enhancement, renovation, update or meaningful improvement or replacement. Self serving egos, lot of talk at the expense of business. Wrong people in the wrong places for the wrong reasons. now it’s late. But! cheer up, don’t worry, be happy, relax maybe this put a smile on your face and you have happy ending.

Halliburton is smart in other ways, they've recently put community college grads in manager positions at Holdings to be sold. New owners are guaranteed existing management won't run off, until new management can be found. Very smart indeed.

I think I will release the Hal academy videos, what a bunch of numb nuts that think of that crap. What a terrible waste. We're doing layoffs but let's go to the hill country resort and give an atta boy to 1000 mgrs we never met. Can't cancel, we already have a tee time.

Sperry will be just fine, like we were before Halliburton. I'm actually looking forward to it. Who wants to stay with a company that doesn't want you? I say good riddance, big red mgmt. will hinder your progress and excel on putting lipstick on pigs. Good luck on getting anything done quickly with big red. Hahahahaha. You'll see! And by the way, for all the potential synergies, baker will take it up the dark side of the moon because big red mgrs aren't going to get rid of their people first, they will thank you for your thoughts, but bidness is bid ness. Ain't going to get rid of mi compadre!!

There is no Anti-Trust. The DOJ story is just a cover to get rid of the weak links. Anti-trust is for monopolies, this is far from it.

Admitting that the rotary steerable and its pulser are lagging Schlum and Baker, while doing a victory dance for a niche market in the waning world of the Oil Sands.

Sperry isn't going to shutdown

Where have you been...

When Sperry's telemetry gets upgraded & bugs worked out of it RS, it'll be bad ass.

One more thing, who has (and continues) to OWN the magnetic ranging market? That's right, you guessed it, SPERRY DRILLING.

Don't think companies want to hire service contractors that may get shutdown in a months time.
