Based on information other thread , SM did not get any offer from MSFT that was all fake show, its PJ who got in some nasty divorce mess and not able to do his job so board needed to get rid of him..it seems SM was forced to take up this job..and he is trying to do his best but he has his limitations.

krait and Hydra don't make sense any more....the CPU advantages have plateaued off ...ARM processors are "good enough" for most the phone applications...... only apple whose processor tied to IOs and to some extend Samsung who make the entire phone can take advantage of custom cores.....going forward Samsung and apple control the high end market....so where does it leave QUALCOMM CPU team... nowhere!!! they are done..... with the latest changes Snapdragon CPU team is done and everything associated with it....
