Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Selfish Question: How will the CIP be affected?

It's a selfish question given the current state of things. How is the CIP affected? Do they eliminate it for a year? Go forth as normal? Best case you would think corp modifier at a 1 given our incredible Safety performance this year.

Don't be an idiot. You may not be acting selfish but you aren't being smart either. A CIP is a bonus only and should be treated as one. There's too many people walking around banking on the CIP and treating it like a given instead of a perk. That's why so many of you are in debt and won't make it past 2 months once you're laid off.

The survivors will get healthy SIPs. Everyone knows that. How can you be so sure you are safe? This is musical chairs with 25% of the chairs taken away.

Yes, it is selfish. But it shows you must be among the smug old old boys and gals who laugh about culling the herd. You will one day be one of the targeted groups. Karma.
