Hang in there people. Many of us have gone through downsized and seen our peers RIFed. You aren't alone, and don't take it personally. Its a sucky feeling initially but things always have a way of working out moving forward. Some of you will find better opportunities in the same profession. Some of you will find opportunities outside of your profession that will be better than what you did before. A lot of this happened during the aerospace layoffs of the earlier decades and eventually it all worked out for everyone one way or another. Everything will be fine movig forward. Best of luck to everyone.

It is best of stay optimistic. It is still daunting to think about how can the industry absorb thousands of people with skills in mobile. There are no other company designing mobile chips in US.

BTW. I am no longer a Q person (for awhile) but I work at a similar company. I wish we were in better health ourselves but I know we have some headcount. If any of you are displaced I'll be happy to help where ever I can. Over the next week or so, i'll post some of the opportunities we have available and give you some contacts that you can reach out to. I have nothing personal to gain from this. Only that I know what it's like and appreciate what others would do for me if the tables were reversed.
