I had to have a bunch if copper pipes redone. So I get my trusted plumber to do it. Its funny that his per hour rate was around $200/hr. Thoght that was ironic comparing to what many Q engineers with a college degree make.

You overpaid. Scale for most contractors is about $75/hr. But copper pipes are expensive. Last time I replaced leaking pipes in shower it cost $2400. That also included replacement of tile. (2012)
A) You overpaid
B) You trust the wrong people
C) You do not know the definition of 'irony'

Drug dealers make more. So do lawyers and hookers and actors and dentists and blah blah blah . no need for these irrelevant repetitive posts
Truth hurts doesn't it. Imagine that
.High skilled blue collar work has greater job security that college degrees white collar work that management teams like to outsource so that you end up competing to do a job with some that is willing to do it for $50/hr or less.
We don't need these kind of posts this week....you are not helping anyone with your shitty posts about the pay scale of blue collar workers.
I find ceos that talk about encouraging young people towards stems and complaining about shortage of tech workers but at the same time continuing to ship work overseas and increase h1b count just so funny. What a bunch of bullshit.
I guess you can't ship plumbing work to Bangalore. :(
